Although Guest House La Esteponera has no on-site restaurant, the reception staff have a wealth of local knowledge and will gladly advise guests on bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. There is also a seating area next to the 24 hour reception desk with a microwave and fridge should guests wish to bring in drinks and snacks which can be enjoyed over a game of pool. Check in and out is 12:00 and one child under 6 years can stay for free.

Guest House La Esteponera is an ideal base for exploring the delights of Gibraltar and there are a variety of transport options available. A taxi to the centre of the city costs around 6€ and there is an efficient local bus service as well as car and bicycle hire. There are a number of tours and boat trips to the majority of Gibraltar's superb attractions, the scenic cable car ride to the summit of the ‘Rock' offers spectacular views, and once on the summit visitors can watch the funny antics of Gibraltar's famous Barbary monkey colony.
